The Archaeological Park and Montale Terramare Open-air Museum was set up by

the Civic Museum of Archaeology and Ethnology, Modena City Council

In agreement with

The Park and Open-air Museum were completed in the ambit of a wider project called “Archaeolive”, supported by the European Union and involving: the Civic Museum, Modena; the Museum of Natural History, Vienna; the Pile-Dwelling Museum of Unteruhldingen, on Lake Constance.

The concept and scientific planning of the park was by Andrea Cardarelli, Professor of Prehistory and Protohistory at the University of Rome "La Sapienza"; the architectural project was designed by Architect Riccardo Merlo.
